This beer blog is made and mostly written by me, Chas. I’m just a beer lover who also enjoys writing, so I figured I’d write about beer. I quite like beer.
I’ve been drinking beer since before I was supposed to, and now I want to share my knowledge of beer with everybody else. Hell, perhaps I’ll learn a thing or two along the way too.
I’m mainly looking for a way to share beer facts with the world, which is why the blog portion of this website is called beer facts. I have discussions on different styles of beer and what makes that style a particular style, information about brewing and homebrewing, as well as other stuff about beer.
Beer is the beverage of the masses: everybody enjoys beer, whether you’re rich or poor, smart or less smart. There’s a beer out there for everybody. Sure, I lean more towards the whole craft beer “thing,” but if you like your macro-Lagers, that’s OK too. Perhaps we won’t agree on our respective tastes in beer, but we’ll agree that beer is good.
When I’m not talking about beer, I’m working in a Mornington digital marketing agency, just outside of Melbourne, Australia. I also maintain another blog about guitars which keeps me busy. And for those who like drinks other than beers, I also help out with a cocktail search engine.
